The resonator guitar is a favorite of Hawaiian, Blues, Country, and Bluegrass players. In contemplating a design that would appeal to players in the vast geographical stretch from Hawaii to the Mississippi Delta to Nashville to the mountains of Appalachia, Luna asked, "What common element would tie the diverse musical genres and geographies together?" Much of Luna's inspiration is drawn from nature, and since different species of the lovely Magnolia tree are found in all of these areas......thus a Magnolia blossom became the inspiration for for Luna's Steel Magnolia. It is especially sweet that the neck is FSC certified mahogany.
